Kihara is a partner at the law firm of Kihara & Wyne Advocates, an advocate of the High court of Kenya, a Chartered Arbitrator, an Accredited Mediator, Adjudicator and Governance Expert.
He has in the past worked with the Office of Attorney General’s and as a Corporation Secretary in several state agencies. Mr. Kihara is the current Chairperson of the Public Private Partnerships Petition Committee. He is a former Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators – Kenya Branch. Mr. Kihara sits on the boards of several entities including the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration and the International Public Private Partnerships Institute (IPPPI). He regularly writes and speaks at conferences on Arbitration, Law, ADR and Public Private Partnerships. Kihara has also published widely on topics covering the aforesaid areas.
He holds Bachelors of Commerce (B.Com) and Bachelors of Law (LL.B.) degrees. Kihara also has a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) specializing in Corporate Governance and is a Certified Governance Auditor. He is also a Chartered Arbitrator
